No one expected Channing Tatum to be involved in the Deadpool & Wolverine movie. Not just as a cameo, but as one of the important characters that supports the plot in the movie.
Channing Tatum appears as Remy LeBeau aka Gambit, one of the most famous mutant characters in the Marvel universe. Channing Tatum and Gambit are not two characters who are strangers to each other.
Since 2014, Channing has been officially appointed to play Gambit in the mutant project by 20th Century Fox. Unfortunately, Channing and Gambit’s romance did not go smoothly. The production process of the project continued to be postponed several times. Until finally 20th Century Fox was acquired by Disney, the superhero with kinetic energy powers never appeared on the big screen. Channing also admitted to being traumatized by superhero-related things because of the incident.
Until finally last week, the world was shocked by his presence in the Deadpool & Wolverine film. Channing finally spoke up about his role in the latest Deadpool film. He uploaded a touching message via his social media, complete with two photos with Ryan Reynolds.

“These photos are almost ten years apart. The first photo was taken when Ryan showed the first Deadpool footage in 2015,” Channing wrote.
At that time, after the film promo was finished, Channing, who was sitting in the audience, immediately approached Ryan backstage.
“I just hugged him and said, ‘Wow, that’s great, man. Perfect.’ I didn’t know him that well at the time, but I was so happy for him to bring Deadpool to life,” Channing added.

Since then, he admitted that Ryan has been a figure who continues to give him support, including in realizing Gambit on the big screen.
“I thought I had lost Gambit forever. But Ryan fought for me and Gambit. I will probably be indebted to him, forever, because I don’t know how I could ever do anything equal to what he did for me,” said the 44-year-old actor.
“I love you, man. Shawn Levy too. Absolutely brilliant creator on every level.”
He said he was very happy to be involved in Deadpool & Wolverine. For him, it was a brilliant work.
“I am so grateful to be in this film. I think it is a masterpiece that brings incredible joy. I literally screamed in the cinema. Damn!!” he said. (Z-11)
