Patients whose delivery is scheduled at Trinité hospital will have to go to the MFME in Fort-de-France. This is the consequence of the closure of the operating theaters at the Trinité site “due to a breakdown of the technical installations, as of today, and this until further notice”.
“This unavailability leads to the temporary cessation of deliveries at the Trinité hospital”specifies the management of the CHUM.
The public hospital has put in place transitional measures to avoid congestion at the MFME, facilitate the orientation of pregnant women and those who have given birth to the most appropriate site for each, with safe care.
The gyneco-obstetrics department of Trinité is available to patients for any questions about their pregnancy follow-up.
