According to RetailDetail, the problems are linked to the bankruptcy of Canadian software specialist Food-X Technologies, with which Carrefour works. New software would be installed, but it might only go live in early 2023, the spokeswoman told RetailDetail. From there, the capacity of the online store has been limited and therefore online shopping cannot be done everywhere. “The Antwerp-Gent-Brussek triangle has priority, around 50 of the 250 pick-up points are currently inactive,” writes RetailDetail.

The “ShipTo” service, which allows food products to be delivered to homes, is working as planned.
