Trams and metros run with increased frequency, and on some routes, additional connections or extended operating hours have been introduced.

Buses of school lines have returned to their routes, bus courses carried out on school and university days (lines 114, 121, 150, 164, 211, 401) and bus routes 163, 164, 201 have been restored. Buses 196, 200, 320, 332, 339, 356, 379. Standard timetables have been introduced for bus lines 105, 106, 125, 135, 193, 194, 340, 507, 509, 511, 518, 523 as well as trams and the subway.

The return to the standard tram timetable means runs every 4 or 8 minutes in the peak hours and 6 or 12 in the so-called off-peak hours. between peak times and on days off. During peak hours, the M1 metro trains run approximately every 2 minutes and 20 seconds, and the M2 line approximately every 2 minutes and 50 seconds.

Longer on line 9, then on line 705

From February 27, trams of line 9 will run longer. From the Central Railway Station, the last “nine” will go (towards Praga) to Gocławek at 0:07, and to Wiatraczna at 0:27. In the direction of Ochota and Włochy, the last runs are : 23:38 (to P+R Al. Krakowska) and at 23:58 and 0:18 (to Plac G. Narutowicza).

Also from today, the route of line 705 will be extended. The buses serving it will reach the intersection of Opolska and Piwna Streets in Nowe Załubice. This will be the northernmost point to which Warsaw Public Transport buses will reach – the distance from the center of Warsaw will be over 30 km, and WTP will cover a larger area of the Radzymin commune.

Buses of line 705 from today will not reach the current terminus on Kościelna Street, but they will turn from Mazowiecka into Opolska and reach the new terminus called Opolska – at the intersection with Piwna. There will be several stops on the new route on Opolska Street (Starorzecze 01 and 02; Opolska 01 and 02; Irysowa 02).

Route 705 was extended at the request of the city and commune of Radzymin.

More often to Wilanowska

After a detailed analysis of the so-called buses line 165 in the morning peak towards the Wilanowska metro station will run more often. For this purpose, the Public Transport Authority decided on an unusual solution – it will use the buses of line 331 returning to the loop at the Wilanowska metro station, which are very full in the morning – they mainly carry employees of companies located in Wyczółki to work. However, returning to Wilanowska, they take few passengers.

Therefore, in some courses from Wilanowska, buses 331 will take a shorter route to the Wyczółki terminus and return to the Metro Wilanowska terminus as 165 via Kłobucka Street. This will increase the frequency of bus lines 165 in the morning peak towards the metro. Additional courses will appear in the timetable between 6:40 a.m. and 8:20 a.m., with the morning timetable of line 165 changing to maintain intervals between courses – buses will run approximately every 10 minutes.

In the coming weeks, ZTM also plans to correct the routes of bus lines 136 and 308 in Służewiec.
