Caracas FC, following many years, will once once more play at home in the Brigid Iriarte National Stadiumwhich means a big change.
The news was confirmed on Wednesday, July 10, by Rostin González, president of the team, at a press conference held at the venue located in the El Paraíso parish.
It is worth noting that Caracas FC played a large part of the 20th century at the UCV Olympic Stadium, where historic matches were held, such as the 2009 Copa Libertadores, the 2019 absolute final, among others.
Let us remember that the Brígido Iriarte National Stadium was remodeled last year to host the 2024 Pre-Olympic tournament.
In addition, Portuguesa and Rayo Zuliano were local teams there for the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana this year 2024.
Now, at the UCV Olympic Stadium, only Deportivo La Guaira, Metropolitanos and UCV FC will be home.
Meanwhile, at the Brigido Iriarte it will be Caracas FC and Deportivo Miranda (second division).
