Change burst: Andersson not to Brondby

The transfer of Sebastian Andersson (31) to Brondby IF has collapsed. As ‘Sky’ reports, the Danish first division club might not come to an agreement with 1. FC Köln. Cologne’s sporting director Thomas Kessler confirms to the pay TV broadcaster: “We expect Sebastian back at Geißbockheim on Saturday. The players and the club have not come to an agreement.” Only yesterday, Thursday, did Andersson complete the medical check for Bröndby.

In Cologne, the Swede’s working paper runs until 2023. However, Andersson does not have a future in the cathedral city. Under coach Steffen Baumgart, the top scorer, whom the billy goats stole from Union Berlin for 6.5 million euros two years ago, is in a difficult position. Anthony Modeste (34) and newcomer Steffen Tigges (24) are currently in the lead.
