Vienna – Sabine Matejka is resigning from her position as President of the Association of Austrian Judges (RiV) following six years. In a broadcast, she gave the reason for this as the appointment to the head of the Federal Administrative Court, which had still not been decided due to coalition quarrels, for which she appeared as the best-ranked candidate following a selection process. From September 1st, she will be succeeded by the former Vice President Gernot Kanduth in the RiV.
