– Fenaco boss will step down in June 2025
Martin Keller has announced his resignation as head of Fenaco. The board of directors is now looking for a successor.
Martin Keller has announced his resignation as head of the agricultural cooperative Fenaco. He will leave the cooperative in June 2025, according to a statement on Friday followingnoon.
Keller wants to reorient himself professionally: “After 13 years, the time has come for a change,” he explains his decision. In 2012 he took over as chairman of the management board.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Pierre-André Geiser thanked Keller for his many years of service. Under his leadership, the cooperative developed strongly. For example, net revenue rose from under 6 billion francs to around 8 billion. “Martin Keller opened up new market potential along the value chain of the agriculture and food industry, always keeping our cooperative purpose in mind,” Geiser continued.
The growth was primarily driven organically. Keller also strengthened the cooperative through “targeted acquisitions in the areas of grain trading, agricultural technology, catering supplies, wine production and small-scale retail.” Under Keller, 200 jobs were created and the proportion of women in management positions was steadily increased.
The Board of Directors has initiated the search for a successor to Keller. He will provide further information in due course.
