Thiruvananthapuram: Chandy Oommen, who won the by-election, took oath as Pudupalli MLA. Chandi Oommen was sworn in following the question and answer session at 10 am on Monday. P.C. Chandy Oommen reached the House with Vishnu Nath MLA. The opposition welcomed Chandy Oommen by hitting the desk.
The oath was taken in the name of God. Chandy Oommen took the oath following first addressing the opposition leader and then the chief minister by shaking hands. After taking the oath, signed the membership register. He then reached the speaker’s desk and shook hands.
