Champions Trophy: ICC delegation found Pakistan’s security arrangements satisfactory – Sports

The International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation has described the security arrangements made by Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 as satisfactory.

The ICC delegation had a meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, in the meeting a detailed discussion was held regarding the preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

ICC delegation Senior Manager Events Sara Edgar, Event Manager and Champions Trophy Event Lead Aoun Muhammad Zaidi, General Manager Cricket Wasim Khan, Security Manager David Musker during a meeting with Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi during the ICC Champions Trophy Tournament. Security arrangements were also discussed.

The ICC delegation expressed satisfaction with the security and arrangements made for the Champions Trophy in Karachi and Rawalpindi.

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi assured world class arrangements for the ICC Champions Trophy and said that the upgradation work of the stadiums will be completed in any case before the Champions Trophy, foolproof security for all the teams. Arrangements will be made.

He said that it is an honor to hold the ICC Champions Trophy tournament in Pakistan, the arrangements are being finalized as per the big tournament, the players of all the teams will enjoy the game of cricket in a peaceful and safe environment.

Mohsin Naqvi further said that after the upgradation, the stadiums will have international standard facilities and the fans will enjoy cricket matches more, Pakistani people love the game of cricket and support all the teams.

Pakistan Cricket Board Director International Cricket Usman Wahla, Director Security Colonel Retired Khalid Mehmood and Head of Marketing Salman Masood were also present in the meeting.
