Figure skaters Yegor Bazin and Elizaveta Khudaiberdieva, performing in ice dancing, moved to the team of Alexander Zhulin, regarding this figure skater informed TASS.
“We are moving to the team of Alexander Zhulin and Petr Durnev. This decision was made by us together with Lisa following we talked regarding the situation, we realized that we need to move forward, improve. Yes, sometimes you have to make difficult decisions. Zhulin is a great coach, he knows what to do. And it will help us to reveal ourselves, to restart our skating, our strengths, our emotional mood, ”said Bazin.

Zhulin notedthat today the couple has already trained under the guidance of a new mentor. “Yes, we have already trained today. Why did they leave Samokhin? I don’t know, these are questions for them. I informed them that it was not my decision, they came to me themselves. There are such moments sometimes, ”said Zhulin.
A couple of Bazin and Khudaiberdiyeva made their debut together in September 2020. At the first stage of the Russian Cup in Syzran, the duet took first place. They are the champions of Russia in 2023 and the bronze medalists of the Russian championship in 2022.
Previously, the duo trained in Denis Samokhin’s group.
