If Jagiellonia advances, they will play their first home match in the fourth round on August 20 or 21, with the return match in the Serbian capital the following week.
First you have to beat the Norwegians
“Jaga” will face the Norwegian champions in the 3rd round on Wednesday in Białystok and six days later away. If the Polish team loses this two-legged match, it will go to the 4th round of the Europa League qualifiers. In it, it can meet Panathinaikos or Ajax Amsterdam.
If Jagiellonia loses against Bodoe/Glimt and another rival, then it will play in the league phase of the Conference League.
From the 4th round of the qualifiers, in addition to Crvena Zvezda, the teams Young Boys Bern led by Łukasz Łakomy and Galatasaray Istanbul will also enter the competition, competing against each other. Dinamo Zagreb, which was also exempted from the previous rounds, will face Ludogorets Razgrad led by Jakub Piotrowski or Karabakh Agdam.
Jagiellonia vs Crvena?
Fate also brought together the winners of the pairs FC Midtjylland (Adam Buksa) – Ferencvaros Budapest and Slovan Bratislava – APOEL Nicosia, as well as the better teams of the two-legged matches Malmoe FF – PAOK Saloniki (Tomasz Kędziora) and Sparta Prague – FCSB Bucharest.
In the league path, Sebastian Szymański’s team Fenerbahce Istanbul, if they manage to beat Lille, will face the better of the Slavia Prague – Union Saint-Gilloise pair, while FC Salzburg, whose player is Kamil Piątkowski, after possibly eliminating Twente Enschede, will compete with Dynamo Kiev or Rangers FC.
