Stadium evacuated following Schumis benefit kick

Shock following the nice kick!

After the final whistle of the “Champions for Charity” game, the Frankfurt stadium had to be evacuated for a short time.

The announcement boomed over the loudspeakers: “Attention, attention, due to a technical fault you should leave the building immediately using the designated escape routes.”

When leaving the stadium, no elevators should be used, following almost 15 minutes the situation was clear and the spectators were able to return to the stadium.

Despite the warning announcement, many fans were still waiting at the stadium exit for the stars who were kicking at the game.

Celebrities such as ex-Bayern star Giovane Elber (50), former handball player Pascal Hens (42) and ex-soccer professional Felix Kroos (31) mingled with the spectators and took photos. So the situation didn’t really seem threatening.

The “Schumacher and Friends” team beat the team of basketball star Dirk Nowitzki (44) 11:10 in the benefit game on Wednesday evening. The game was held in honor of Michael Schumacher (53).

A total of 100,000 euros was raised, which goes to the foundations of the Schumacher family and the Nowitzki Foundation.
