Chamonix World Cup Slalom: Manuel Feller and Linus Straßer Face Off on the Slopes

2024-02-04 07:37:00

Not all ski races this weekend have to bow to the precarious snow situation. In the men’s World Cup today (9.30/12.30, ORF 1) there is a slalom on the program in Chamonix, with the focus on the ball duel: The Tyrolean Manuel Feller, who is in top form, and the German Linus Straßer are also seen at the partly aperous foot of the Mont Blanc as a top favorite.

But only Feller did this role justice in the first round. The Austrian is in third place, 40 hundredths behind the leading Frenchman Clement Noel. Second is the Norwegian Timon Haugan. The second best ÖSV driver is Dominik Raschner in sixth place. Linus Strasser, on the other hand, is already 1.24 seconds behind.
