Chambers of Commerce: Decrease in the prices of poultry and eggs before Ramadan

Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, revealed a pleasant surprise to the public of citizens and consumers before the holy month of Ramadan, pointing to the decrease in the prices of poultry and eggs following a month.

And he continued, during a telephone conversation with the media, Azza Mustafa, on the “Tahrir Hall” program, broadcast on Sada Al-Balad channel, that goods are released at ports at a cost of $6 billion per month, and this is the normal rate.

He explained that the average goods in all Egyptian ports amounted to 4.8 billion dollars, before the new procedures, and there are goods worth 3 billion dollars whose procedures have not been completed.

Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, confirmed that there is no delay in the release of goods for financial reasons, and there is no longer a dollar problem, adding that the state has forgiven importers of everything it charges for goods in customs.

He added that there is stability in prices, and this will appear clearly during the next two weeks, pointing out that there are prices that will decrease due to the lack of dependence on the foreign component.
