Seven associations, including the Diyanet of Belgium and the Islamic Federation of Belgium, members of the Coordination Council of Islamic Institutions of Belgium (CIB) have taken the decision to file several appeals for annulment before the Constitutional Court once morest the guide Evras (Education in relational, emotional and sexual life). They consider, in fact, that several normative provisions which led to the adoption of the Evras guide (which was not, however, the subject of a vote, Editor’s note) are unconstitutional.
Evras: sex, fantasies and risks
These same institutions had already reacted on September 6, 2023 on the eve of the adoption of the decree by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation which makes two hours of Evras activities compulsory in 6th primary and two hours in 4th secondary in FWB schools.
The CIB also says it condemns the acts of violence and vandalism once morest schools which followed the adoption of the decree.
