Installed a few days ago on Grand’rue in Feluy, the first electrical terminals have municipal regulations adopted by the council several months ago. This stipulates that parking is prohibited next to the terminals except, of course, during charging time. But unfortunately, not all motorists respect this ban and municipal services have noted that the regulation is not really applied. “We suspected it a little, when we put this regulation in place, that these measures would not be respected straight away”, confides Nicolas Dujardin, alderman for Regional Planning. “We put this regulation in place to avoid this type of problem but also to avoid bumper cars which remain parked despite the end of the charge. Unfortunately, a priori, the message has difficulty getting across.”
