Still undefeated this season, the RSCA Futures version won their second victory by overcoming Lierse, still leader of D1B, 2-3. Lucas Stassin opened the scoring (0-1, 12th), and Van Acker answered him for the hosts (1-1, 23rd). Stassin then offered himself a hat-trick by scoring a second goal (1-2, 27th) then a third from the penalty spot (1-3, 57th). The reduction in Rocha’s score, also from the penalty spot (2-3, 64th), was not enough for the Lierrois to return to equality.
Dender now has four points as they claim their first away win of the season at Deinze, 0-2. Rajsel scored the first goal at the half hour (0-1, 30th) and Lallemand secured the three points in the last quarter of an hour (0-2, 77th).
Lierse retains first place in the Challenger Pro League standings with 12 points, but the Anderlecht U23s are now only 2 points away, in 2nd position. Dender (4 points) remains in last position but records an important victory which allows him to approach a length of Deinze, 10th.
