Chairman Sunni Etihad Council demands immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner – Pakistan

Sunni Ittehad Council Chairman Hamid Raza demanded the immediate resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner.

Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court following the court verdict, Hamid Raza, chairman of the Sunni Ittehad Council, said that the Election Commission tried to steal the mandate but might not succeed. The Supreme Court also expressed no confidence in the Election Commission.

Chairman Hamid Raza has said that today the Supreme Court has restored the dignity of the institution by paying the right to the rightful.

PTI leader Shibli Faraz said that today is a very important day in political history, we have got reserved seats but the seats taken away through Form 47 should also be returned.

Shibli Faraz said that people were elected through Form 47, the struggle will continue until all our seats are returned.

It should be noted that the Supreme Court has annulled the decision of the Peshawar High Court and the Election Commission regarding the specific seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council.
