A group of police officers rescued a 39-year-old woman who lived locked up, chained, in the feet and arms, for 20 years for her mother. The event occurred on February 9 in a rural area of Brazil, the town of Ricoa.
The young woman was identified as Rosinalva Borges da Silvawas dehydrated and had no food, so she was sent to a care center where she remains hospitalized with severe malnutrition, detailed the Brazilian media.
In the images of the moment of the rescue, which were broadcast on social networks, it can be seen that Rosinalva was without shoes, locked in a room without bed or bathroom and that it had a gate, like a kind of cage.

Rosinalva Borges was in unsanitary conditions
Police chief Carlos Alberto Braga Diniz Neto said that the woman had her feet chained and her arms tiedin addition to living in unsanitary conditions.
The officer also indicated that Rosinalva’s mother was in the house with signs of drunkenness.
According to media reports, the woman may have been locked up because of psychological disorders caused as a result of the loss of her two children, a fact that made her become aggressive.
