CH: an attacker who breaks everything in Laval is recalled

Quebecer Anthony Richard was recalled by the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday morning.

The 25-year-old striker is the top scorer for the Laval Rocket, CH’s school club in the American League. In 27 games, Richard hit the target 18 times and provided 13 assists for 31 points.

The Trois-Rivières native was hired by the Montreal club on July 13 as a free agent. He signed a one-year contract worth $750,000.

Richard previously worked for the Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning organizations. He also played two games in the National League with the first of these two teams. The southpaw has yet to score a point in the Bettman circuit, however.

The Canadian also indicated that forward Rem Pitlick had been sold to the Rocket. In 14 games with the Habs this season, he has amassed one goal. It’s not the first time the center player has had to commute between Montreal and Laval. The 25-year-old has a goal and five assists for six points in nine games with the Rocket in 2022-23.

The CH will play its next game on Monday evening, during a visit to Mullett Arena for a duel once morest the Arizona Coyotes. This will be the first game of a seven-game trip to opposing rinks.
