Since the Montreal Canadiens have a training complex in Brossard, the team trains there on game mornings.
However, it will be different from the 2022-2023 season when the players will skate at the Bell Center when they play there in the evening.
“The ice changes over the course of a week [spectacles, température extérieure…] and skating on it the morning of a game is also to tame it, said Renaud Lavoie, Monday, at JiC.
“It was the opposing teams who benefited from it and not the Canadians. I salute this decision of the players which in my opinion is the right one. We regain control of the amphitheater.
Renaud Lavoie mentioned that this volte-face is mainly due to the fact that Carey Price is no longer consulted and that the latter preferred to train in Brossard at all times.
