CFI Financial Group is sponsoring the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024, presented by ADQ. The games will feature the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets playing two warm-up games at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island on Friday, October 4 and Sunday, October 6.
The FX and CFD broker has partnered with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) to secure the role of official online trading partner of the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024.

Fans in Abu Dhabi will have the opportunity to attend two NBA games live and participate in various fan events across the city. A key event is the NBA Fan Appreciation Day at the Etihad Arena on October 5, which will feature a performance by Grammy-winning rapper 2 Chainz. NBA legends such as Muggsy Bogues, Marcus Camby, Derek Fisher, Sylvia Fowles, Kevin Garnett, Shaquille O’Neal and Mitch Richmond will perform. There will also be on-court activities including a skills competition, a three-point competition, mascot appearances and a slam dunk competition featuring professional dunkers.
In addition, the NBA District will be held at Manarat Al Saadiyat from October 3 to 6, offering fans an interactive experience that combines basketball, pop culture and the NBA. Visitors can take part in various activities, meet NBA legends and explore the history of basketball. The event will kick off on October 2 with an opening concert by 3 Chainz.
CFI opens office in Abu Dhabi
The sponsorship of the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024 comes hot on the heels of the FX/CFD broker’s expansion of its UAE office to Abu Dhabi. The online trading provider’s UAE subsidiary operates under a Category 1 license issued by the UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
