The architectural studio Acromnia presents a concept of a hotel without furniture, in orbit around the Earth. But the material that will compose this totally innovative modular structure does not yet exist.
Designed like the mesh of a net
This orbital hotel abstraction is far removed from the International Space Station. Their proposal is based on a cell whose shape merges a horizontal cross with a vertical one. The space hotel would be composed of these, interconnected to form what looks like meshes of a net. Inside, the walls would be covered with a smart material that would change shape according to the needs of the customers.
