Lucio: “Well, I’ve always been more pleasant in the shadows, focusing on my music rather then the limelight. But I reached a point where I felt it was time to share my songs with a larger audience. Sanremo seemed like the perfect opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and connect with listeners beyond my usual circles.”

Lucio: “In a way, yes. I believe in the power of subtlety and understatement. I’m not about flashy showmanship; I’d rather let my lyrics and melodies speak for themselves. I want people to listen closely and find their own interpretations, their own connections to the songs.”

You’ve described yourself as the “son of the rock ‘n’ roll”. Can you tell us more about that influence and how it shapes your music?
Lucio: “Rock ‘n’ roll is about emotion, energy, and rebellion. It’s about expressing what you feel,no matter how raw or uncomfortable. That spirit resonates with me deeply, and it’s something I strive to incorporate into my songs. But I also draw inspiration from other genres,trying to create a sound that’s uniquely mine.”
