“But the truth is that I felt very bad that the president dared to tell me that before the interview. As if with that he ingratiated himself with me. As if with that he might soften my questions or buy my benevolence or my complicity. I knew that President Pedro Castillo might be capable of many things following that,” he added.
Immediately, Hildebrandt remembered that following the encounter with Castillo Terrones, a Palacio’s assistant approached him to ask him if his weekly had state to which the journalist replied that “he neither has it nor wants it.”
“Now that I tell these two things, and one of these things, you will realize why I have the opinion that I have now regarding Pedro Castillo. Conflicts of interest? Yes, then, inelegance? Yes, vulgarity? Yes, well,” he asserted.
