CES 2024: Gigabyte bets on HPC servers for AI and sustainable computing

Gigabyte was another of the featured brands at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, presenting a series of high-performance servers for cutting-edge AIs, with models that support AMD Instinct MI300A APU, NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip and NVIDIA HGX H100 8-GPU. These state-of-the-art chips aim to take account of the advances related to artificial intelligence that currently dominate the industry.

There are also solutions that seek to balance the environment, designed to enable data centers to handle robust AI workloads, reducing energy consumption and contributing to sustainable goals with a reduced carbon footprint. There are also advanced cooling technologies, AIoT, and AI-powered flagship computers for gamers and creators.


With Giga Computing, the company highlighted four high-end AI/HPC servers at CES. The G383-R80 server stands out, which supports AMD Instinct MI300A APU, integrating CPU, GPU and 128GB of HBM3 unified memory, suitable for real-time data analysis.

The G593 series, powered by NVIDIA HGX H100 8-GPU, excels at AI model training and inference in a compact 5U configuration. This server stands out in the MLPerf Training Benchmarks, demonstrating its effectiveness in various AI workloads.

For scalable and flexible computing needs, Gigabyte brought the XH23-VG0, powered by NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip, with MGX modular design for large-scale AI/HPC applications. The G493-SB0, supporting 8 x Dual slot Gen5 GPUs, serves multiple workloads including generative AI, virtualization, rendering and 3D graphics.
