CES 2023 sees Samsung unveil its Neo QLED, OLED, and MicroLED TVs; See all of its features

CES 2023 witnesses Samsung unveiling its new range of advanced smart TVs equipped with QLED, OLED and Micro LED panels.

CES 2023 is about to start and before that, Samsung has taken the wraps off its 2023 lineup of premium smart TVs. Samsung has refreshed its range of Neo QLED TVs along with new OLED TVs and Micro LED TVs. The company also unveiled a new smart refrigerator with a 32-inch screen that acts as a communications and entertainment hub. New TVs bring big upgrades to the 2022 models.

Samsung Neo QLED TVs

Neo QLED 4K and 8K TVs use Samsung’s advanced Quantum Neural Processor which allows for 14-bit processing and AI upscaling. This enables features such as adaptive lighting control for the shape and Depth Enhancer Pro for a 3D portrait effect. Televisions rely on Mini LED backlight technology for lighting. The TVs also come with new Auto HDR Remastering technology that uses artificial intelligence to analyze and apply real-time HDR effects to SDR content on a scene-by-scene basis. Samsung also offers support for Matter on these TVs, allowing all Matter supported devices to work seamlessly with this Samsung TV.

Micro LED and OLED TVs

The 2023 Micro LED TV range introduces new models ranging from 50 to 140 inches. The modular nature allows users to customize the viewport to their desired shape, ratio, and size. Plus, it lacks any kind of edges.

Then there is the Samsung lineup. The 2023 OLED lineup is now available in 55-, 65-, and 77-inch variants. Samsung OLED TVs use Quantum Dot technology and neural quantum processors from Samsung Neo QLED TVs to retain the core strengths of OLED while simultaneously improving brightness and color representation. OLED TVs get a 144Hz refresh rate and Samsung’s Smart Game Center and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification.

Samsung TV Plus is now also available on all Smart TVs to offer free ad-supported content from live channels.

Other than the TVs, Samsung also unveiled updated projectors, including “The Premiere 8K” short throw projector and Freestyle with Smart EDGE Blending.
