Republic of Gamers today unveiled numerous new notebooks and peripherals at CES 2023. These include the gaming notebooks from the Strix SCAR and Strix G series in 16, 17 and 18 inch versions. These gaming powerhouses are equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 and 13th Gen Intel Core processors, unleashing more power for maximum performance. In addition, ROG introduces the new Zephyrus M16 with ROG Nebula HDR and AniMe Matrix display, as well as the Zephyrus G16 and Zephyrus G14 – all with strong performance that gives gamers the necessary gaming advantage. In addition, ROG has renewed the ROG Flow X16, Flow X13 and Flow Z13 models – all of which are compatible with the external ROG XG Mobile GPU for extra gaming power. ROG Strix SCAR and Strix G Series: Full gaming power for e-athletes
The new Strix series is specially designed for e-sports enthusiasts. The new gaming flagship ROG Strix SCAR 18 combines the performance and convenience of a desktop PC in a notebook that is equipped with first-class components for gamers. In addition, the SCAR 18 is the first ROG notebook ever to boast an 18-inch Nebula display and QHD resolution.
The ROG Strix SCAR is also available in 16 (G634 with Nebula HRD Display) or 17-inch (G734 with Nebula Display) models. The 16- and 18-inch models come with up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processors, while the ROG Strix SCAR 17 comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor. In addition, the two-way AI noise reduction filters out background noise. For long-lasting gaming pleasure, the models contain a 64 Wh or 90 Wh battery and a 100 W Type-C charging port. WiFi 6E and an Ethernet port provide state-of-the-art networking technology for minimal delays in wired and compatible wireless networks. ROG Zephyrus Series: Elegant powerhouses with improved displays
The new Zephyrus series is equipped with powerful chips from Intel, AMD and NVIDIA and combines slim and stylish design with ultra-strong performance.
That ROG Zephyrus G14 is a 14-inch gaming machine with a bright ROG Nebula HDR Mini LED display with QHD resolution and 165 Hz, which is Pantone-validated and has an aspect ratio of 16:10. Another panel option is FHD with 144 Hz. The ROG Zephyrus G14 offers maximum power thanks to an AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 graphics processor with a maximum of 125 W TGP, a MUX switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. Despite the high performance, overheating is not an issue thanks to the effective cooling. This is ensured by a vapor chamber for the CPU and GPU, the unique liquid metal cooling for the CPU and two 84-blade Arc Flow fans. The 76 Wh battery allows gamers to stay active for long periods of time.
That ROG Zephyrus G16 and the ROG Zephyrus M16 are equipped with a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPU, with a maximum of 145 W TGP (M16, 120 W TGP for the G16). There is also a MUX switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. The ROG Nebula display with 94 percent screen-to-body ratio in 16:10 format ensures the ROG Zephyrus G16 an optimal viewing experience and the 90 Wh battery for long gaming sessions. The ROG Zephyrus M16 comes with a ROG Nebula HDR display in QHD resolution, with mini LEDs and 240 Hz at 3 ms. It also impresses with G-SYNC and a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 16:10 format. To combat the heat generated, the M16 features ROG Intelligent Cooling Tri-Fan technology with a full-width heatsink and a large, fast-charging 90 Wh battery with Power Delivery 3.0.
The G16 and the M16 both have Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, the M16 also has the customizable AniMe Matrix display, which brings out the personality of the user to the fullest. All Zephyrus models have a 180° ErgoLift hinge for maximum comfort, Dolby Atmos speakers, and a 3D microphone array with multiple modes and two-way AI noise canceling for clear communication. The G14 and M16 models are equipped with an FHD IR camera, the G16 with an HD 720P IR camera.
All models come with Windows Hello support. Plenty of connectivity options include a 100W USB Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery, PD charging support, and WiFi 6E.
ROG Flow Z13: powerful gaming tablet
The powerful ROG Flow Z13 Gaming-Tablet features a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 laptop GPU with G-SYNC and DDS 2.0 support – all in a 13-inch chassis that is only 1, Weighs 1 kg and is extremely slim at 12 mm.
