Continuing education pass guarantees the foundation for excellent apprenticeship training in Tyrol.
Today, Friday followingnoon, 26 apprentice trainers received certificates and diplomas, which they acquired as part of the Tyrolean further education pass. Six apprenticeship trainers received a diploma, nine a level 2 certificate and eleven a level 1 certificate. As part of the Tyrolean continuing education pass for apprenticeship trainers, level 1 and 2 certificates are first obtained through a wide range of further education opportunities. Finally, a diploma is awarded. The state of Tyrol finances the training forum with 60,000 euros annually.
“The apprenticeship training in our country is of high quality and arouses great interest. We have laid the foundation for this with the continuing education pass for apprentice trainers. As part of the further training program, the trainers are supported in their role in vocational education and can gain further qualifications over three levels,” explains the state minister for education and labour Beate Palrader. “I would like to thank everyone who is committed to our apprentices and who campaigns for their education.”
The State Councilor also emphasizes: “Since the introduction of the further training pass in 2005, a total of 148 apprentice trainers have received a diploma (level 3), 196 a level 2 certificate and 342 a level 1 certificate – that’s a total of 686 certificates awarded. In order to achieve level 1, education points must be collected in further education and courses, for level 2 a written work must be written and for level 3, the diploma, another, extensive written work must be prepared and presented to a jury.

The trainer forum is a cooperation between the state of Tyrol, the Tyrolean Chamber of Labour, the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce and the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions.
