LH Mikl-Leitner: Lower Austria as a business location stands for a business-friendly climate and joint further development
St. Pölten (OTS) – This Monday followingnoon, numerous guests from business, blue light organizations and politics, including state governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, came to the EcoWirtschaftspark Föhrenwald Wiener Neustadt for the ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony for the new building of the Koloszar Medizintechnik GmbH company.
“Companies like to settle in Lower Austria as a business location because it stands for a business-friendly climate and shared further development,” emphasized State Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner in her speech. The company Koloszar, “which has stood for responsibility, reliability and professional cooperation in the emergency medicine sector for almost 30 years”, will build a modern, ecological and sustainable working environment for its employees in the Föhrenau business park with the support of the state and the ecoplus business agency.
The Föhrenau business park in Wiener Neustadt is one of the 16 ecoplus business parks in Lower Austria and is a flagship for ecological business. Covering an area of around 19 hectares, it is the perfect location for companies planning to expand, with excellent connections to public transport, with green roof and facade areas, PV systems and much more, explained the state governor. The ecological measures and criteria are already supported by nine companies and around 170 employees. It is therefore “a lighthouse on Lower Austria’s path to becoming the leading smart green region in Europe,” says Mikl-Leitner.
The new office building and a modern logistics and warehouse for Koloszar Medizintechnik are being built on more than 5,000 square meters. The work is scheduled to start in spring 2024 and the new building will finally open two years later, explained managing director Stefan Koloszar, who gave an outline of the company’s founding and development. “In addition to cardiac safety in companies and communities, we are a reputable and reliable supplier, from syringes to ventilators, for the hospital system and all emergency services organizations,” explained Koloszar. Recently, the company has become more than just a dealer and supplier, but also provides services, maintenance and training for medical technology.
Authorized signatory and sales manager Marco Sodomka emphasized in his statement: “We definitely wanted to stay in Wiener Neustadt with our new location, as it is an important operational, but above all social, environment for us, our employees and customers.” Sodomka praised also “the always qualitative and structural cooperation” with the ecoplus business agency.
