MWC is the world’s largest mobile communication fair and will be held offline for the first time in three years since the 2019 Corona Virus. The CEOs of the three mobile telephony companies had recently considered a business trip due to the spread of Omicron, but decided to attend by minimizing the number of business trips.

At the MWC site, CEO Youngsang Yoo announces the vision of the SKT 2.0 era and expands hyper-cooperation with global big players in various industries. CEO Yoo plans to actively promote SK Telecom’s core technologies and services such as the achievements of 5G over the past three years and ifland, AI semiconductor, and quantum cryptography.

SK Telecom is providing differentiated customer experiences in various fields such as communication, AI, media, and ESG through collaboration with domestic companies such as Samsung and Kakao. In particular, it is expected to participate in the recent GSMA discussion regarding the cost of using networks of global content providers (CPs) such as Netflix.
