Mind the Sec took place from September 12th to 14th, 2023, at the Transamérica Expocenter, in the city of São Paulo. With a record attendance, reported by the organization, more than 10 thousand participants discussed the news and challenges of information security and cybersecurity in Latin America. Decision makers, industry brand leaders, experts, among other information security professionals were present.
Among the topics presented, Century Data highlighted the importance of security for mobile applications and APIs within an organization, exemplifying how a vulnerable connection can cause a security breach. In addition to the solutions exposed, there were several debates and lectures where current security issues were mentioned.
A topic that received a lot of attention was Data Governance and Security, moderated by the CEO of Century Data, Wellington Franham and debated by Carlos Grilli and Mauro Tonon. Best practices for implementing security processes and how to address emerging challenges in this area were detailed.
