Representative Raji Al-Saad tweeted on his account via Twitter, saying: “The most important thing in the first session of the presidential elections is the launch of the dynamic of delivering a new president, first because we reject the vacuum and secondly because we insist on starting a workshop to save Lebanon from hell through a sovereign and reformist president accompanied by a government that is striving to address the causes Deepening our crises by restoring the state first. In this context, our choice was Michel Moawad, and we will continue….”
He added: “We hope that the Speaker of the Council will call for a second, third and fourth session as soon as possible to complete the presidential election by election within the Council, and not by dropping external settlements and canceling parliamentary democracy. We also call on the opposition blocs to unite so that we can deliver the required candidate.”
