On the occasion of the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, the official association of the mythical race, is launching a major solidarity movement to finance the operation of 24 underprivileged children suffering from heart defects from countries where it is impossible to operating them due to a lack of technical or financial means.
For more than 10 years, Carrefour stores in the Mancelle and Center regions have been supporting Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque. Thanks to the significant mobilization of the stores and their teams, nearly 50 children with heart disease have already been saved. On the occasion of the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 22 stores and their teams will be selling more than 50,000 collector tote bags in the colors of the anniversary edition at the price of €2.50.
The objective this year: To finance the operations of 8 children thanks to this sale of bags in the colors of the anniversary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The association Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque has been present since 2009 on the racing circuit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Thanks to the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and the mobilization of partners working alongside it, more than 100 children have been operated on since the beginning of the partnership.
Once again this year, Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque will be present at the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 10 and 11.
