For the first time in history, Argentines who are homeless were surveyed. Confirm Marco Lavagna took place between the nights of May 15 and 16 and 265 census takers visited 75 locations throughout the country.
Up to now, each census has produced a number of homeless people who are estimated to have a underregistration why the protocol was not specifically organized to address this population. It was the census taker who had to ring the bell in a specific number of blocks and ask the neighbors if he saw someone in that state to write it down.
“Not only do we effectively census people who live on the street, but also those who are in a vulnerable situation who live in a hostel, but a person who is sleeping in a hostel one night can sleep on the street the next” , explained the official in Radio 10.
