A human team that contains

CEMENURNK not only became a beacon of hope, but also a meeting point between medical science and human affection.

“I came afraid and interviewed the doctor. I met a beautiful person, a professional with capital letters who advised me and gave me options so I wouldn’t get discouraged. So I kept going,” said a former patient.

“Coming is no longer a tragedy, I come happy, I come to see the girls, the boys, you feel at home,” considered a woman who had to be treated for breast cancer.

“I decided to stay and I don’t regret it, because from the moment I arrived – destroyed -, I found the science that cures the sick, but above all affection from the entrance to the exit,” another patient expressed with gratitude.

Berta Roth, the vice president of the “Néstor Kirchner” Center for Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy Foundation, explained that at CEMENURNK they developed a “quality of life service,” which focuses on “continuous care” and addresses other aspects of the medicinal sphere, as well as the way of life of each patient.

“There are psychologists who work to lower the level of anxiety required to face this pathology, which is not easy because no one likes the idea of having a tumor. Also nutritionists who guide the patient regarding food consumption,” Roth said regarding the Wellness and Quality of Life service, which to date has served 341 patients in the area of nutrition, 348 in psychology and has held workshops. family for 98.

In short, the words of gratitude for the care expressed by the majority of CEMENURNK patients are evidence that the medicine it promotes has two fundamental pillars: its technical specialization, and above all, humanity when carrying out its daily work.
