Cement deliveries from members of the Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers (Asment Temara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc and Lafarge Holcim Maroc) stood at 8.14 million tonnes (Mt) at the end of last August, in slight decline of 0.83% compared to the same period in 2022, according to the Ministry of National Land Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy.
These sales are distributed across distribution with more than 4.97 Mt, BPE (ready-mixed concrete) with more than 1.62 Mt, PREFA (prefabricated concrete) with 791,477 t, building (312,443 t) and infrastructure (438,325 t), specifies the ministry in its monthly document on the evolution of cement deliveries.
During the month of August alone, APC members delivered 1.15 Mt of cement, up 7.59% compared to the same month last year.
