Celular Seguro reaches 30 thousand blocks and 1.7 million users

Launched by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) to protect the information present on smartphones after robberies and thefts, the application Safe cell phone has already surpassed the 30 thousand blocks since its launch, which took place in December last year.

The information was published on the ministry’s official website, which highlighted that the blocks carried out refer to the loss, theft or theft of devices. According to the publication, they are already more than 1.7 million users registered throughout the country, with 1.3 million registered devices.

Another interesting milestone achieved was that of more than 1.2 million registered trusted people. These people, it is worth remembering, are authorized to block third-party devices — which makes it easier to use in the case of victims who are unable to access the platform after losing their smartphone.

Celular Seguro, it is worth remembering, is available both via the web (through the website celularseguro.mj.gov.br), as well as through mobile applications for iOS e para Android. To access it, you must have an account on GOV.BRthe Federal Government’s unified services portal.
