Celtics – Sixers is THE shock of these conference semi-finals in the East. Jayson Tatum, James Harden and Jaylen Brown will all be there, Joel Embiid is still uncertain for the start of the series but should probably complete this rain of stars in a historic series, opposing two of the best collectives in the league.
For the predictions of the editorial staff, it’s here!

Will Joel Embiid be ready?
Huge shock to the East with this magnificent and iconic Celtics – Sixers. Expected by the greatest number, this historic clash 21 series of Playoffs between the two franchises, NBA record) will take place. Both teams managed to avoid the different upsets that we saw especially in the other part of the table to give us a 5 star clash. The Clubs offered themselves (more difficult than expected) the scalp of the Hawks in six games (4-2) when Embiid and his friends gently swept the Nets like men. No more rest for Philadelphia, which will have been entitled to ten days without competition when Game 1 begins this evening. A significant parameter when we know that Boston will have to work to get out of the trap of the Falcons, the fault of a Trae Young who knew how to mobilize and take two sets with C’s sometimes a little sufficient at the time of conclusion.
The first round of Playoffs did not ultimately give much indication of the real level of the two teams as they had a margin over their opponents. Neither was pushed to their limits even though the Celtics’ game 6 money time showed that Boston still had the makings of a big team, very solid when it comes to winning. Philly on his side has mastered all his meetings. Joel Embiid was clearly in break-in mode once morest the Nets before injuring his knee and missing Game 4, a very unwelcome boo that might earn him an absence from this start of the series. Worst possible timing.
More Philly has resources on its roster and James Harden meanwhile will have to dress in his best suit. The bearded man, the league’s best passer, has definitely traded in his ultimate gunslinger outfit to treat his teammates to all kinds of caviars while continuing to score but in smaller volumes. Metronome essential to the proper functioning of the 76ers machine, he must nevertheless find – still – consistency and regularity in his game, in a series where the intensity and defensive impact will be increased tenfold. And if Embiid is out, Ramesse will have to take the series out of his life, without a warm-up lap. On ESPN, journalists are more concerned regarding the constance d’Harden than Embiid’s injury:
Interesting, @ramonashelburne Shelburne thinks consistent play from James Harden is a bigger concern than Joel Embiid’s health for round 2 pic.twitter.com/taaP1xcGp3

On the Clover side, everything is going well, or almost. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown shine game following game in the heart of a team totally in control both in their execution and in their confidence. Joe Mazzulla can nevertheless deplore the two rounds left in Atlanta, out of conceit more than anything else. Certainly Trae Young slammed a buzzer beater of madness in Game 5 to survive, but Boston should have finished the job tonight at TD Garden, especially since the Falcons were amputated Dejounte Murray. A small hitch that does not detract from the collective power that emerges from this franchise. Beyond the two Jays, all the members of the collective rise. We obviously think of Derrick White who showed great things at the start of the series once morest the Hawks before declining slightly. Marcus Smart obviously, real sheriff of Massachusetts who supervises the defense and leads with all his rage the green pack. We might also talk regarding Malcolm Brogdon et Robert Williams which drive the second unit of the C’s particularly well, in short, Boston is very tough but be careful to put your head and guts on the floor from Game 1 at TD Garden so as not to lose the advantage of the field .
