The Seocho Police Station in Seoul investigated Mr. A for regarding 3 hours the day before. The police confirmed the location information by issuing a communication warrant for Lee Se-chang, former acting president of the Freedom Federation, who was designated as a drinking party, and concluded that they had left the bar around 10:00 pm.

Rep. Kim said in a text message to reporters that day, “The person who said he saw the so-called ‘Cheongdam-dong drinking party’ said to the police that it was a lie.” If the statement is true, as the first person to openly raise this suspicion, I express my deep regret to the people involved, including President Yoon Seok-yeol.”

Previously, on the 24th of last month, Congressman Kim asked a minister at the Ministry of Justice’s parliamentary audit, “Did you have a drink with 30 Kim & Chang lawyers and President Yoon at a bar in Cheongdam-dong on the late night of July 19-20?”

The recording released by Rep. Kim at the time is a conversation between A and B on July 20. It’s 1 o’clock in the morning,” he said. It is said that President Yoon and Minister Han had a drink with lawyers until following midnight.

In response, a minister said, “If I were in that place or within 1km of that place, what would I bet?” “I have never been to that place. Give reasons why I went. Words that slander me.”

The police plan to investigate how the contents of Mr. A’s message to Mr. B were distributed and how the recording was passed on to Rep. Kim.
