The singer, in shock, has returned to social networks.

Increasingly rare, his voice still resonates for the noblest of causes. Celine Dion made a remarkable comeback on Instagram to denounce in turn the invasion of Ukraine on February 28.

“Bravo Celine”

“To you, brave people of Ukraine, we are with you wholeheartedly. We are shocked and saddened, but also greatly inspired by your bravery… You have our support and our prayers for peace,” wrote the 53-year-old singer in a press release in English and French, all accompanied by the hashtag #StandWithUkrain (together for Ukraine, Editor’s note). A fraternal message which was greeted with great emotion by his fans, orphans of the diva for many months. “Your voice helps”, “thank you for your solidarity”, “Bravo Céline, a great woman”can we read in the comments.

Celine Dion is one of the latest in a long line of celebrities to speak out once morest the Ukrainian crisis. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Milla Jovavich, Angelia Jolie or even Miley Cyrus reacted publicly, sometimes putting their hands in their pockets to help the country.
