Celebrity Boy William said that he has hearing loss. Boy William’s left ear is 100 percent not functioning so he only relies on his right ear in his activities.
Boy admitted that he had been deaf since he was a child and only the right ear was active in listening to sounds. Boy also said that he was born normally without any disturbances when he was a baby.
“When I was 5 years old, my parents realized that I was unresponsive when called. So I took them to the doctor, the doctor immediately said that I was 100 percent deaf in my left ear,” explained Boy William when met in the South Jakarta area on Saturday (13/05/ 2023).
The 31-year-old man does not know the exact cause of his deafness. Some relatives said the condition occurred due to flying on a plane when he was a baby.
Boy also added that since childhood, he did not use hearing aids. He felt that he was used to this.
“Now to be honest, I’ve been used to this kind of condition since childhood. So it’s normal, there are only a few moments that might be difficult for us, especially for public figures,” he added.
To this day, Boy doesn’t experience significant problems in his activities even though he can only hear through one ear. But he admits that he wants to be like a ‘normal’ person who can use both ears.
“I want to be at my age now, want to feel that I have two functioning ears,” concluded Boy.
