All the best, Fritz Schindecker
The most booked writer, playwright and screenwriter on the Austrian cabaret scene is celebrating his 70th birthday in July: Fritz Schindlecker. With Erwin Steinhauer he unearthed stories of youth in the 1960s and undertook an Austrian Psycherl analysis, he went on literary journeys with Joesie Prokopetz and he co-authored the biography “Krowod” for Lukas Resetarits.

He wrote cabaret texts for Resetarits, Steinhauer, Dolores Schmidinger, Kurt Weinzierl, Götz Kauffmann and others, as well as plays, musical comedies and screenplays for television. Lukas Resetarits on the congenial collaboration with Fritz Schindlecker: “Over the years it was many hundreds of hours of serious talks plus fooling around at a high level. We laughed at least as much at work together as the audience did at the performances.”
