According to him, the Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, also appreciated the outstanding Polri athletes by giving them educational awards from the Polri Bintara School.
The Polri athlete who has won a medal at PON is Bharaka I Kadek Pasek Karisna who serves in battalion C of regiment I of the Pelopor troops with a gold medal in the men’s 90 kg class in the sport of judo.
In addition, two Polri athletes won silver and bronze in the muaythai sport, namely Bharatu Muhammad Firdaus Ali Qodri from the KBRN unit of the Brimob Polri Corps Gegana troops who won a silver medal in the men’s muaythai category, and Bripda Gino Rinaldi Fauzi who won a bronze medal in the men’s 57 kilogram class.
