Music TRIO RAN, Rayi, Asta, and Nino released a mini album titled RAN for Your Kids on Tuesday, (23/7). In the mini album, there are four song tracks Selamat Pagi, Sepeda, Macet Lagi – Si Komo Naik MRT, and Dekat di Hati. In addition, in this mini album there are also four parts of narration sung by Kak Seto as an introduction to the song.
The release of the mini album coincided with National Children’s Day on July 23. It also became their commitment and concern for Indonesian children who currently listen more to adult songs and foreign language songs. As a generation that grew up with children’s songs, RAN feels a moral responsibility to provide the same experience to Indonesian children today by celebrating joy through songs that have positive values, are motivating, and are sung in their mother tongue, Indonesian.
In this mini album, RAN also directly involved children’s talents, namely Velyn Elsa, Khayla Khay, and Achmad Barakha. The three were obtained through a selection process followed by hundreds of participants from all over Indonesia.
“We tried to look back at our song bank to see if there was anything suitable for children.
“Which is suitable without any age restrictions and not always about love,” said RAN personnel, Rayi regarding the selection of songs included in the mini album during a press conference at Urban Forest Cipete, South Jakarta, Tuesday, (23/7).
Another RAN personnel, Nino, added that in this mini album they actually do not want to promote RAN as a music group to the children’s listener segment. Instead, the songs they created for children’s listeners are expected to be accepted and become an option for parents and children regarding the current Indonesian children’s song treasury.

“The biggest inspiration actually came from our concern. We saw that it seems like children in Indonesia, the options to listen to their children’s songs are not many, the access is limited,” said Nino.
“Hopefully, the children will actually be fans of the children who sing here. Because there are idols who are the same age or not that far from them,” Rayi continued.
Completing the release of the mini album, RAN also held a child-friendly activity held at Urban Forest Cipete. Later, RAN also hopes that they can continue the RAN for Your Kids project in the next volume, by inviting new collaborators. (Z-7)
