Little concerned regarding the April kids who were acting out outside, the members and friends of the ILCG (local gerontology body) of Ancerville celebrated spring in their own way, by dancing.
There were around a hundred guests who responded to the invitation on Thursday April 4, at the Cousances-les-Forges village hall, including around fifteen from the Les Cotelles day reception.
On the menu, waltzes, pasodobles, tangos, marches and line dances played brilliantly by Jean Pornot on the accordion and Patrice Gallot on the saxophone. In a haloed atmosphere, happy colors, tulips arranged on the tables, discussions were going well between two dances. Pascal played the great game of magic and seduced everyone with his red nose and his tricks which triggered laughter.
A raffle ended the celebrations, rewarding a handmade painting offered by a donor, the luckiest person. President Daniel Lejeune was delighted with such a success “which corresponds to the need that people feel to escape the ambient gloom”. He arranged to meet senior drivers for a driving course which will take place on May 30, at the Salle du Château, in Cousances.
