The disappearance and presumed death of Cecilia Strzyzowski keeps the province of Chaco on edge. The 28-year-old has been absent since June 1 and the investigation revolves around femicide. This Friday, her mother, Gloria Romero, called a press conference following recognizing different elements found in recent days.
“Most of the things they found are from my daughter. The pieces of the sweatshirt were the last one that she had seen him wear, ”said Romero in dialogue with the media. In addition, she said she was “beaten” following finding the burned garments.
With notable emotion, the woman said she knew that her daughter “is dead” and that this “was going to be like that”, in relation to the recognition of the garments and other items. “When you see it and you imagine that they burned her, that she may never find her body or I only find a piece or her bones, that is taking everything away from me.”
“They took everything from me,” he said.
Within her pain and anguish over the situation, Gloria confirmed that “fear” was also removed, not only from her but also from other people who denounced different situations that they experienced in Chaco.
“There are 18 missing girls in Chaco. This has to end. One should not march so that Justice does what corresponds to it, ”she said.
a massive march
The woman’s speech ended with a request to the Chaco citizens for the next march, called for this Sunday.
“When the national press is not there, they (referring to the Sena family and the political leaders linked to them) are going to return to power and I am going to be a little housewife fighting once morest political titans, who have power and money” , indicated.
He added: “I ask all of Chaco to come on Sunday to support me. Together we are more. This Sunday I need you here. To all. I know that they are marching in all towns but I ask you to come ”, he called to meet in the city of Resistencia.
Finally, the woman asked those who cannot attend the march to express themselves in their towns with the Argentine team shirt and a pink heart, since Cecilia “was very soccer fan.”
“She had as many dreams as there are stars in the sky, and one of those was to go see a World Cup,” he added.
“I’m broken. When they throw you to the ground and trample you, some of them stay down, but tomorrow I’m going to get up,” Romero concluded.
