Cécile Neven, the new general administrator of the Walloon Business Union, the “boss of Walloon bosses” was Martin Buxant’s guest this morning on bel RTL. He asked her if she thought that Wallonia was at risk of going bankrupt one day.

And for Cécile Neven, the answer is clear: “I think so. I think we absolutely must redress the situation. We absolutely must reserve investment capacity for structuring projects for the transition. We are absolutely faced with this. Our children and our grandchildren will not will never forgive us for bequeathing them a debt that is unpayable on the grounds that we have chosen to live beyond our means.”.

She highlights two problems in Wallonia: “the absence of priorities and the scattering. For me, our leitmotif is really to prioritize”she added.
