CDG Développement, a 100% subsidiary of the Caisse de depot et de gestion (CDG), has entered into a partnership with CDC Biodiversité, a subsidiary of the Caisse de depot et de consignations (CDC) of France. Signed on the sidelines of a working meeting between Abdellatif Zaghnoun, CEO of CDG and Éric Lombard, CEO of the Caisse des Dépôts Group, this agreement covers four areas of cooperation: the sharing of expertise; strategic advice; operational support for projects as well as awareness and promotion actions. The two parties are thus making the ecological and energy transition one of their priorities. They will work to promote the preservation of biodiversity “as being a factor in the efficiency of their economic model and a lever for the creation of new growth-enhancing activities”.
According to Omar Elyazghi, CEO of CDG Développement, “CDC Biodiversié will support us in defining a vision and developing a strategic roadmap on biodiversity specific to CDG Développement”. The two parties will cooperate on the improvement of the impacts of the projects developed, and those financially supported by CDG Development on biodiversity.
